Kay, so here's the rundown for all you lovely folks at DA:

I'm a student, and art is something I've always liked to do. It's really more of a hobby than an aspiration, but over the years I think I've started to get a little better. I also appear to be drawing away from the generic manga/anime style which has made me really happy. I want people to be able to recognize my art as mine.

I'm currently experimenting with Photoshop coloring and touch-ups, as well as photo-manipulation.

Whenever I used to come onto DA I would get inspired by all the different ideas and styles that people use to express themselves. I decided to start up an account, which is not this one. My experimental account was set up about three years ago and instantly drew all kinds of hate from around the internet. Crushed, I removed all the deviations from it and stopped getting onto DeviantArt altogether.

Then, about a year ago, I found a link to DA while perusing Snafu comics(Incidentally, the same place I discovered Endling). I decided to give it a second shot.

Maybe the internet has become a more friendly face from three years ago, or maybe people just started observing the "if you can't say something nice" law. Either way, the only way I've been noticed is from those few seconds my deviations are on the 'Recent' page and most of my feedback has been positive. I've decided I like being just another grain of sand on the beach; the less attention you draw to yourself, the less likely it is to be negative.
